How to work the wire
Most waiver claims fail for the same reason: the manager bids on last week's box score. A player who scored twice on four touches is not suddenly a starter. This board ignores last week entirely and scores what is in front of the player — the defense he faces, the offense he plays in, and how much value he holds over the freely available replacement at his position.
Spend real budget on role changes, not on one good game. A backup who just inherited a backfield is worth a quarter of your FAAB in September and almost nothing in December. Streamers — a defense, a kicker, a matchup-based flex — should cost you single digits. If you find yourself bidding 30 percent on a streamer, you are solving a lineup problem with the wrong tool.
The drop list is the half people skip. Every add costs a roster spot, and holding a player through a bye plus a nightmare matchup usually costs more than the upside he carries. Drop the smallest edge, not the biggest name.

- How are the waiver wire rankings decided?
- Every widely available player is scored on projected points over replacement in your scoring format, how soft the defense he faces that week is, and how much offense he is attached to. Handcuff running backs are added separately and scored on how much of the starter's workload would transfer.
- How much FAAB should I bid?
- The percentage next to each name is a share of a full season budget. Must-add names are worth roughly a quarter of your budget, strong adds around 10 to 20 percent, and streamers a few percent. Bid the number, not one dollar more, and never spend big on a one-week streamer.
- Does the board update every week?
- Yes. The week rolls over on Tuesday when waivers run, and every ranking, matchup and drop candidate is recalculated from the schedule. There is nothing to refresh.
