How the ranking works
The number that matters on waivers is not a projection, it is the difference between a free agent and the player he would push out of your lineup. Each candidate's projection is adjusted for matchup, then for role trend — rising usage gets a bump, shrinking usage gets marked down — then for availability, so a questionable tag costs real points and a player ruled out drops to zero start value. That adjusted number is compared with the starter you would bench, and the gap drives the ranking.
A small scarcity bonus rewards players almost nobody rosters, because those are the claims you win cheaply. Positions are weighted for weekly swing too: a running back upgrade moves your score far more than a kicker upgrade, no matter what the projections say.

- Who should I pick up on waivers this week?
- Pick up the player who adds the most points over whoever he replaces in your starting lineup, not the player with the biggest name. Enter your free agents with their projections, matchup and injury tag and the tool ranks them by that weekly swing, then tells you whether each one should start immediately or sit on your bench.
- Is the waiver wire tool free?

- How is injury status factored in?
- Availability discounts the projection: questionable players are marked down, doubtful players are heavily discounted, and a player who is out scores zero start value and is flagged as a stash-ahead claim instead of a lineup fix.
- Should I add a player who is only rostered in a few leagues?
- Low rostered percentage is a bonus, not a warning. If a player still projects above your current starter, being widely available just means you can win the claim cheaply. The ranking adds a small scarcity bonus for that reason.
- Does it work for Sleeper, ESPN, Yahoo and CBS?
- Yes. The ranking is based on your own lineup, projections and matchups, so it applies to any league on any platform.
