How the verdict is calculated
Each player is scored on weekly projection, which also sets a trade value. The engine subtracts what you give from what you get to produce a net value and a weekly points swing, then checks roster fit: receiving a third tight end is worth less than filling a hole at running back, so depth you cannot start is discounted.
Two rules that hold in most leagues: the side receiving the best single player usually wins a 2-for-1, and a trade that only improves your bench is a loss even when the value looks even.
