FAQ
- What does the number in each cell mean?
- It is the average point swing the matchup creates for that team's starters at the selected position — the difference between a matchup-adjusted projection and that player's own normal week. Positive is a tailwind, negative is a drag.
- Should a red cell make me bench a player?
- Rarely on its own. A matchup is usually worth two or three points, which settles a close flex call but does not outweigh the gap between a starter and a replacement-level option.
- Does the heatmap agree with the start/sit board?
- Yes. Both are built from the same matchup grades, offense strength and league scoring, so a hot cell and a start call can never contradict each other.
