How dynasty values are calculated
Each player starts with his 2026 value over replacement in your format, then that production is projected across his remaining contention window and multiplied by a position-specific aging curve. A 24-year-old back and a 29-year-old back with the same 2026 projection separate quickly, because the curve keeps paying the younger one for three more seasons.
Draft picks are priced as the assets they usually become. An early 1st is valued at the sixth-best asset on the board, a mid 1st at the twelfth, an early 2nd near the twenty-eighth, with future years discounted roughly 18% per season of waiting. That discount is why "2027 and 2028 firsts" packages look better to rebuilding teams than to contenders.
Two dynasty rules the verdict encodes: the side receiving the single best asset usually wins a multi-player package, and value that arrives outside your contention window is not value you can spend.

- How does the dynasty trade calculator value players?
- Every player is scored on projected value over replacement for 2026, then projected forward across a position-specific aging curve — running backs decline from about 25, receivers 27, tight ends 28 and quarterbacks 30. The total is the age-adjusted value you see, so young producers outrank equally productive veterans.
- How are rookie and future draft picks valued?
- Each pick is valued at the dynasty asset it typically becomes: an early 1st lands around the 6th-best asset on the board, a mid 1st around 12th, an early 2nd around 28th, and so on. Future picks are then discounted about 18% per season until they convey, which is why a 2028 1st is worth clearly less than a 2026 1st.
- Does it support Superflex and TE premium?
- Yes. Turning on Superflex re-prices every quarterback against a second starting slot, and TE premium adds bonus scoring for tight ends. Both toggles re-run the whole board and re-price assets already in the trade.
- What does the window shift number mean?
- It is the average change in contention window — the number of seasons your incoming assets stay startable compared with the ones you send out. A positive shift means you got younger and are moving toward a rebuild; a negative shift means you traded future seasons for win-now production.
