A repeatable weekly fantasy football research routine

Good in-season managers do the same four things every week. The tools here are organized around that loop.

Tuesday: waivers

Read the snap and target changes from Sunday, identify role changes, and set FAAB bids before the Wednesday morning processing window.

Thursday: injuries and practice reports

A player limited on Wednesday and Thursday is a genuine risk for Sunday. Line up the direct replacement now instead of scrambling at kickoff.

Saturday: matchups and streams

Set defense and kicker streams against the weakest offensive lines and the highest implied-total games, then lock start/sit calls for the borderline flex spots.

Sunday morning: inactives

Final inactives drop 90 minutes before kickoff. That is the last, and cheapest, chance to avoid a zero in an active lineup slot.

Common questions

What should I check first each week?
Role changes from Sunday's snap counts. They drive both the waiver board and next week's start/sit decisions.
Are the research tools free?
The waiver board, injury updates, start/sit pages and matchup heatmap are free. Draft Pro adds the premium dossiers and format-specific rankings.
