How detection works on Sleeper
Sleeper renders the draft board as a live grid, so every pick appears the moment it is made. The overlay watches that grid and forwards each pick to your Draft Waiver session, which re-scores the pool before the next manager is on the clock.
Sleeper leagues drift from default settings
Sleeper makes it easy to change roster slots, flex counts, and TE premium mid-offseason. Draft Waiver reads the settings attached to the draft itself rather than assuming a default, so a 2-flex Superflex league is valued differently from a standard 1-QB build.
Fast clocks reward pre-computed answers
Many Sleeper drafts run on 30 to 60 second clocks. The next-pick panel is computed before your turn, so when the clock starts you are choosing between ranked options instead of scrolling a list.
Slow drafts and multi-day boards
For slow drafts, leave the board tab open or re-open it later — the overlay re-detects the board and backfills any picks made while you were away.
Questions Sleeper drafters ask
Does it work with Sleeper mock drafts?
Yes. Any Sleeper draft board you can open in a browser tab is detected the same way, including mocks, so you can rehearse the workflow before draft night.
Do I have to paste a draft ID?
No. The overlay reads the draft you already have open and pairs it with your Draft Waiver tab. Re-detect is one click if you switch drafts.
Does it support Superflex and TE premium?
Yes. Scoring, roster slots, TE premium, and keeper penalties are pulled from your league settings and applied to every recommendation.
Is my Sleeper account safe?
The overlay never asks for your Sleeper password and never posts on your behalf. It reads the visible draft board only.
