With limited screen space, the number that matters most is the chance a player is still available at your next pick. A player with a 15% survival chance and a small value edge is a worse hold than a player with 70% survival and a slightly smaller edge — take the scarce one now and the durable one later.
Autopick is the single largest source of bad drafts. Keep a ranked shortlist of three names by position so a 20-second warning never turns into a default pick from a stale queue.
Two shared byes among your top four skill players is a real problem; anything less is noise you can fix on waivers. Never downgrade a full tier to dodge a bye.
